but snow about 3/4 of the way down the mountains to
the east of me. The weather man said there could be
snow dropping down to about 6,000 feet and he was
right. Very cool temperatures today. It's hard to
go from mid 80's to the mid 40's in a 24 hour period.
But, I did get a few things accomplished after work
today:
The blocks I had previously pieced were sewn together
and borders added for a table runner. Now just need to
figure out what to do for the backing. Am thinking
I'll pull some fall fabrics from my stash and piece them
together.
Halloween stitchery completed and framed:
Oh, here comes the rain again! At least it held off
long enough for the kids at Davis High to hold
their Homecoming Parade a hour ago.
Hope you're having better weather today wherever
you might be.
I'm off to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate!

Hi Nola!
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish the snow would have stayed in our mountains! We got 5 inches today - my poor trees really took a beating. I have so many large branches to clean up. I went outside to try and knock off the snow, but was afraid a branch would come down and hit me on the noggin!! Next week will be in the 60's so there will be lots of cleaning to do... :0(
Your table runner is just beautiful! And I love your Halloween stitchery, very cute!
Enjoy your hot chocolate - sounds so good to me, I think I'll have a cup!
Warm hugs,
Barb
Looking good, Nola. I am not ready for snow yet, but I will admit these cooler temps have been welcomed. We are starting to need rain. It was really windy here today, so maybe it will bring some rain in. Have a good one.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your projects look wonderful! You've been busy! We've been having rain and cold, too, but today looks promising!
