A Simple Little Runner

Today was a fun sewing day.  My friend, Jo Ann,
came down and we did a little sewing for Halloween,
hoping to get a jump start on things.

We were able to get the top for this
Simple Little Runner all pieced:

It was so nice to have the charm packs in our
stash.  Now just need to back it, machine quilt it,
add rick rack, binding and it will be already to
go.  So quick and easy!

August has really raced by for me.  I  sometimes
wonder what I have been doing.  But, I did get
my elementary school years finished for my
history which seemed to take forever.

Been trying to get a fall stitchery finished along
with sewing Halloween Banners for gifts.

August is filled with Birthdays of family and
friends.  Love being able to get together and
share this special time.  Just celebrated my
son's birthday.

Happy Birthday, Brian!

  3. That is an adorable runner. I should sometime try something like that. I would need help however. August has gone by in a flash. We have so many birthday's to remember in August and then about 1/2 of our children were also married in August. I can feel fall in the air.
    Loved the pictures!
    Blessings to you!
