The Wait is Over

December was the driest December on record here.  We
have experienced spring-like weather for some time now,
bright sunny days and temperatures above normal.  I
must admit I have loved it!  Don't really like the dark
dreary days.  Sunshine makes me feel energized.

But, I believe winter has arrived...at least for today.
This is what I woke to this morning:  A winter
wonderland.

It is a beautiful sight and although I was more than
ready to forgo snow here in the valley, it is needed
and I am grateful "I live in this beautiful world
Heavenly Father created for me."

Stay safe and be well,

Nola

  1. Hi Nola!

How beautiful!! Even though I don't like the slick roads that come along with the snow, I love the snow - and your snow looks so pretty! We are still dry as a bone - kind of foggy this morning, but no snow . . . :0(

    Thanks for sharing!

    Hugs,
    Barb

  3. Your snow is so pretty! We've only had about an inch so far and it was gone in a few days.

  4. Beautifull pictures Nola, snow always looks so pretty before anyone disturbs it. Stay warm and safe and enjoy the beauty.

  5. Oh, Nola, I almost feel guilty basking in the unseasonably warm temps here!! The snow does look pretty, though! Hope you are staying warm and keeping your fingers busy.
