A Little Bit of Boo

If I am going to get fall and Halloween projects done
in time to enjoy them this year, decided I had to get
busy----fall is almost here!

So today I started a small (40 inch square) quilt
which I actually purchased the kit for last year.
This little quilt comes from my favorite quilt
shop, Pine Needles, and was featured in the "Quilt
Sampler Magazine", Fall/Winter 2010 issue.

Was able to complete the six pinwheel blocks today,
the easiest part of the quilt:

Now just have to sew the borders on the 10 stitchery
blocks, trace the designs, and do the embroidery.
Hopefully, because they are small designs, it won't
take too long.

I still want to keep working on other "works in
progress" projects, so will do the stitching in
the evenings.  Probably will take a little longer
doing it this way, but think I can still get it
done by the end of September.  Wish me luck!

Thanks for visiting,
Nola

I can hardly believe that we will be handing out candy to cute little kids dressed up like goblins and witches in the next two months!!

  4. I love the pictures of your handiwork. I think I will start another project of crocheting something. I really need to do a blanket for my husband one of these day. Fall puts me in the mood for starting something.
I will look forward to see the completed quilt.
    Blessings to you!
