a quilting project I had not seen before. "Bed Runners"!
Was very enticed by the pictures and the simplicity of making
them. Each runner could be made using precut fabrics. Of course,
I could always cut my own, I thought.
I was telling my neighbor about these "Bed Runners" and
that they were intriguing me and I thought I'd order the
booklet. Well, lo and behold, she knew exactly what I was
talking about and she's not even a quilter. While on a
recent trip, the hotel they stayed at had "Bed Runners"
and lots of big fluffy decorative pillows on the beds. Well,
I thought, "where have I been?" that I didn't know about
them.
Today the booklet came in the mail!
I absolutely LOVE all 10 patterns and can't wait to make one.
May even make some for Christmas gifts. However, I cannot
start one until I finish the Halloween and Thanksgiving
gifts I am working on I tell myself. Well, maybe I can sandwich one
in! Don't think I can wait. I know, I could make one for
my bed (especially with cold weather not too far off) to
keep my little toesies warm.
Not just sure why these Bed Runners "speak" to me, but they do.
Maybe because it's like making a "table runner" and I
love table runner's, too.
I know what I'm going to be dreaming about tonight...
Bed Runner's 1-10!
Nola

Nola, I just recently heard of bed runners too. Not sure why I didn't think about that before. LOL Sounds like a neat idea. I may try some when I get a few projects caught up. Have fun. Winona
ReplyDeleteI have seen them before but I forgot about them and you jsut reminded me about how pretty they are and how easy they would be to make. Thanks I think I'm going to have to make a few myself. Thanks again just I need another UFOs. LOL
