late afternoon we were sweltering in the heat? It's mid-August
and I'm ready for a change. My energy level was up with the
cooler temps and I was out for a brisk walk by 6:30. Couldn't
wait to get home and get my day going. I felt so energized!
But, as the day wore on I could feel my energy levels dropping
as the temperature climbed. Good thing I got an early start on
laundry and daily chores.
This afternoon decided the best place to be was in the
basement sewing. Pulled out my "project" list, pointed my
finger and selected Christmas pillowcases. Was able to
cut them all out and completed four pillowcases. If all
goes well, I should finish the rest tomorrow.
Wouldn't it be nice if I took time and wrapped them
before placing them in the Christmas box? Hmm...
Also worked on my fall leaf quilt and now have half of
the scrappy leaf blocks sewn...only 28 more to go!
I may just get it done to enjoy this fall...that is if I don't
get sidetracked with other things.

ReplyDeleteHi Nola!
ReplyDeleteOh boy - I know what you mean! At least you got a walk in, that's wonderful! You are such an ambition lady, always a project to work on. I love the pillow cases, what a fun gift for your grandchildren or children, adorable! Again, you've inspired me!
Have a great day!
