month for me, but not this year. Here it is 3/4 of the way over
and I'm still not organized for the New Year like I had planned
to be. My son did help me today get my spread sheet set
up for the year and I got my tax information all transferred.
Now I just need to get my paper file for the year completed and
then I should be good to go with the finance records for the
year.
I've also been cutting 6-1/2 inch squares again trying to get
those baskets emptied out.
The "blue" basket is now about 3/4 empty! Today I gave
345 squares to a friend in my old neighborhood. She and a
group of ladies make humanitarian quilts. They get together
every Monday to quilt. It felt so good to find a home for
more of this fabric and such a blessing to know that it will
benefit someone who could really use a warm quilt.
Last evening we all met here for FHE. After dinner we
decorated Valentine cookies for our dessert.
We were able visit via web cam with my son and
daughter in law to thank them for the wonderful goodies
they had sent. So grateful for technology that allows us
to be close even when we are so far away.
Can you stand one more picture? As I was filing some
papers tonight I glanced out my window and was once again
favored by a gorgeous fiery red sky as the sun slowly sank
below the horizon.
And a few minutes later I was rewarded with this breath-
taking view:
It is so fun that I can look out a front window and see this
sunset and quickly scoot to a back (east) window and see the
reflection on the snow-covered mountains.
Well, it's time for dinner and then think I'll do a little
stitching.
Enjoy!
