fall was in the air, decided it was time to start on the
fall project these fat quarters were purchased for:
From the fat quarters was able to mark, cut and
sew these;
Really doesn't look like the same fabric, but it is.
Sure makes a difference where, how, and what
lighting is used when a photo is taken!
With a couple of orange scraps, these fat quarters
turned into these:
Need to sew the rest of the green pieces together,
buttonhole around the pumpkins, add the center
circle and backing, and it's done! Quick and easy
project!
Will try and stitch my Ghostly Greetings "Pumpkin"
from http://www.crabapplehillstudio.com, this
next week so I can combine everything to make
a small table grouping. The pattern uses black thread
but I am thinking or using a deep rusty/orange to
go with the pumpkins above. Which do you think
would look the best...black or orange floss?
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Looking good, can't wait to see it all together..
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it finished!! You've been very busy. I like how you can stay focused on one project at a time. I fail in that department, although I eventually finish everything, just not always in a timely manner. And then Kaaren comes along with a fantastic First Friday Freebie which totally threw me off track yesterday! I stayed up late stitching and stitching and stitching!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting after it....love it!!!
ReplyDeleteYour Dresdens and your pumpkins look great! One of these days I want to make a Dresden plate quilt. :0)
