Scrappy Bow Ties

Today was one of those days I didn't feel like stitching
on my current projects.  So, decided to head down to
my newly organized shelves (smile) and see what I
could find to do.  Pulled out this orphan charm pack,
"Collections for a Cause--Charity" by Moda and
decided to turn the 5-inch squares into a scrappy bow
tie wall hanging.  The blocks were quick and easy to
do and in just a few hours time I had 25 blocks cut
and pieced together.

Will let these sit out for a day or so until I'm sure
with the arrangement (can already see from this
picture a few blocks that need to be switched) and
then sew them together, add a border and the top
will be done.

Have to share this picture I took last evening of
the sunset out my front door:

The colors were so vibrant.  It absolutely took my
breath away (picture does not do it justice).  I love
these winter sunsets.

Stay safe and be well,

Nola

  2. Hi Nola!

First of all . . . what a breathtaking sunset!

I really love that you can sit down, sew and piece together such a beautiful wall hanging in just a few hours - amazing! It would take me a few months! I love the bow ties and the colors are so pretty! I wouldn't change a thing!
