projects, fat quarters, etc., for the coming year, I
debated about taking a picture and sharing just ONE
shelf filled with "To Do" projects. Embarrassment
won out! Figured if I embarrassed myself by sharing
what was there, it would make me more determined
to work on them. So here goes.......
Sadly, this does not include a number of stitcheries
hiding away in baskets and boxes.
As the year progresses I hope to be able to share
pictures of empty containers. Of course, knowing
me they will fill up quickly with new projects that
I just couldn't resist---especially all the fun things
that are shared by very talented bloggers.
I am happy to report that I am working on two
snowmen projects:
This delightful little guy is part of a snowman
mystery quilt from "My Girlfriends Quilt Shop."
Viewed the finished quilt on line today and I
can hardly wait to get this finished.
These cute hats will become a table runner. Just
finished cutting out the pieces and couldn't resist
laying them on the background fabric to see how
they're going to look. The pattern is "Magical Top
Hats" from "Bags and Quilts, Too!"
Seems kind of strange working on snowmen when
the temperature outside is in the mid'40's and we
have no snow.
Guess I best get busy finishing the buttonholing
around my little snowman's hat.
Stay safe and be well,
Nola
I'm envious of your organization and anxious to see your finished projects.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your snowman projects - very cute.
Tee,Hee,Hee! Thanks for the peek peek. Thank you Man above, as I am not alone! Hugs, Kim C

Oh, Nola, they are just adorable...both of them! I must try to find the patterns. Looks as though you have plenty to keep you busy this winter!! Don't let it overwhelm you! ~karen
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I read your blog. I felt guilty about my shelf of to do projects. Now I don't feel so bad because I don't have nearly as many as you do. LOL Love your snowmen projects you are working on. Looking forward to seeing them when finished.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented. I love the projects you have shared. I really like the snowmen, way cute.
ReplyDeleteI loved your shelf with unfinished projects, at least you have them organized. I have a few that I haven't finished and I am pretty sure they will never be. I wish I had a creative side; but I do love reading and seeing picutes of your finished projects. I need to take up croching again.
Blessings to you in the coming year.
Hi Nola!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, please don't be embarrassed!! All I can say is that you at least work on your projects . . . look at all the cute things you have accomplished in the last year! And, I must say that your shelf looks wonderfully organized!
Your snowman is so cute, and so is the table runner - maybe it will bring on the snow! I really like all these mild days, but I know that come Spring, we will wish we had some moisture... :0(
Keep up the good work!
Hugs,
barb
They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteDon´t be embarrassed, take it easy.Last year I put new top in my bin waiting to to be finished.
Nola, I have projects stacked up like that too. I haven't even been in the mood to work on anything since Christmas. This seems to be normal for me. I never get much done in Jan. I love your snowman and hat blocks. They are going to be cute.
ReplyDeleteI just love both of those snowmen projects--you have done a beautiful job with the colors and fabrics too==way to go!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Di and miss gracie
love your snowman, and I think we all have a shelf or boxes like yours.....
ReplyDeleteNola, I too have a shelf of embarrassment, but I love it so! I too will be working on ufo's this year, but like you I am bound to add more new to the pile. I just love that top hat runner.
