Happy New Year

Can't believe another year has come and gone.  This has been a difficult year having broken my ankle in the spring and not being able to put any weight on it for 9 weeks.  My surgery went well and I was doing great until I started physical therapy and did something to my back.  For five weeks I was in terrible pain and it seemed to set me back.  Slowly, the pain receded and I was able to get back on the road to healing.  I really missed Spring and Summer and being outside in my yard and garden and am looking forward to being out there again.

I also missed being able to get down stairs to my sewing room to work on my quilting projects.  Thankfully, I was able to work on my stitcheries which helped pass the time.

Although 2019 held many challenges it has ended on an upbeat note.  My son and his wife just announced they are expecting their first child and the due date is just three days away from my birthday.  2020 is going to be a good and exciting year!!
