"The Fat Quarter Shop" is celebrating 10 years
with free patterns for their "Deck-ade the Halls"
quilt. You can find them here:

I have been downloading the patterns to
make at some point in time. But when I saw
"Vintage Ornaments" I knew I had to at least
make up a sample ornament.
Today, in between washing and doing a little
cleaning for the 4th, I dug out some of my
scraps left from a little quilt I made the first
of the year and sewed one. It worked up
quite quickly and would be a great way to
use up the left-over fabric as the pieces are
small.
I was thinking that these would make a
cute holiday table runner, pillow or
small wall hanging. I'm sure there are
several other ways these could be used
besides being part of the quilt.
Just have to put my thinking cap on.

Hi Nola!
ReplyDeleteI love fat quarters! I have lots of them, but don't really do anything with them! I loved the blog you recommended - maybe I can get busy and start a project... :0) Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner?! I love your ornament project!
Hugs,
