Teeny Tears Project

Since the first part of January, some of my friends and I
have been involved in making tiny diapers for
http://www.teenytears.blogspot.com.  It has been quite an
humbling and tender experience to stitch these little diapers.
My heart goes out to the parents who have lost little ones
and I hope in some small way they will know of our
concern and love for them.

This now completes our service project.  We were able
to make a total of 203 sets or 406 individual diapers.  They
are given in a set of two--one for the baby and one for
the parents to keep.

Thank you so much, Laurel, JoAnn, Neala and Candee
for your help.  I couldn't have done it without!  You
guys are the best!

  3. Hi Nola!

What a wonderful service!! I can't even imagine going through what some of these poor moms go through. This is an amazing gift to them, and I know you will be so blessed for your service.

At the Humanitarian Center, we make bereavement kits. Some of the volunteers, especially one, makes the most beautiful little gowns, booties and bonnets. We also put a little crochet or knitted blanket with each one. We give them to our local hospitals, to give to moms who lose a precious little child. Makes my heart break.

    You are so special!

    Hugs,
    Barb
