Christmas Sewing

Today felt like a Christmas sewing day even though
I have all these Halloween projects waiting to be
completed.  Recently I had purchased the fabric
and pattern and hanger for a "ornament" shaped wall
hanging to make as a gift. It just kept calling to me.
So, I've spent the afternoon cutting and piecing it.

I really like the square and am thinking of possibly
making one for my table.  Decided I would let it
sit this evening while debating.  Then tomorrow I
can trim it and go look for backing and binding.
May just bind it in the darker of the greens.

I really love these quick and easy projects.

  1. Hi Nola!

So pretty! I am kind of a green freak - I think you can not go wrong with a beautiful dark green!

  3. It's just adorable, Nora!! Quick and easy projects are good for the soul. For me, they give me a good, positive break from my larger projects.

  5. Just beautiful as usual. You are so good at these projects. I keep wondering if I should learn how to quilt. I look forward to the fall in many ways this year. It was fun to see your Christmas project.
    Blessings!
