Recently, I was beginning a new book when I received
an email asking if I would be interested in hosting a
"Give Away" for Jennifer Chiaverini's new book,
Sonoma Rose, due out February 21st.
I couldn't believe it! What a coincidence--the book I
was starting was her latest (or so I thought),
The Union Quilter's.
Some time ago, my friend, Laurel, introduced me to
Jennifer's "Elm Creek Quilt" series and I've been a
fan of hers ever since. So, of course, I couldn't pass
up this opportunity to preview her new book and share
with those of you who read my blog, an opportunity to
win a copy of her new book.
I love the way Jennifer writes and how she draws you
into the stories and makes them come alive on the
written page.
This new book, Sonoma Rose, tells the story of a
young mother's heroic journey in a prohibition-era
America. I read this in two day! I couldn't lay it
down as I was so caught up in the story and how
it was going to end.
